The 25th fans will be happy. Sounds boring to me. RIP arah style convention sets, you had so much untapped potential.

Hate to say it BUT..........how can there be SO much potential if Hasbro is trashing the molds to begin with? The molds are basically TRASH so can't make potential without the club making their own molds for a body which we know they'd charge WAY more than triple for. Their prices keep going UP and UP as it is.

There were plenty of undamaged molds that still could have been used. They were not all "trashed". I think Hasbro exaggerated about the molds.

I don't see why the club had a ONLY ONE STYLE policy for the past few years. They could've done the main set in one style and the "souvenirs" in another, offered everything but the attendee bonus online to non-attendees. But that requires "effort" and actually being in touch with the fanbase.
The Con set sounds uninspired. Only 2 Joes in the mix that haven't seen 25th style release (3 if you include Dialtone, whom the club is also making their membership figure), some easy Cobra repaints, and a foreign Cobra character that a lot of people would think was lame if his o-ring version had seen mass retail release in the USA.

Yeah, I feel some of the pain on here. I quit the club in 2009 when they did the Crimson Strike in 25th mold because I was ARAH holdout. But as I got more and more 25th Characters, I looked forward to the next set and WHAM! "Vacation in the Shadows" was an ARAH set!
I'm glad they are going to one style, but some of you are right...they SHOULD offer both. But again, it comes to money! They are NOT massed Produced like the 25th and ROC figures, so they have a limited run and Hasbro doesn't want to waste money storing ARAH molds for a run of 1,000 once a year! It's sad, but I think we have seen the last of the ARAH figures.....
As for the new CON set, I can't wait! One of my FAVORITE sets from my childhood was Special Missions Brazil!
