Default Rock Wall?

I'm currently looking to construct a rock wall/ledge. A lot like the one Vader9900 has in his shots, thing is where do I start?

If anyone has any idea on what to use or any tips and tricks it would be appreciated!

Thanks guys.

this guy can teach you alot if you get trough the ramblings:

You buy blue stuff styrofoam or pink works thats used to isolate buildings, cut out pieces, cut lines of wall tiles or whatever you want ,use a blunt pen to widen the cuts, push down certain corners etc to make it irregular.

when your happy its time to make it hard.

basicly you mix transparent/white glue, water, some acrylic black paint to get grey color, plaster of paris,acrylix/latex filler.
all the ingridients must dissolve in water or it wont work.

you mix to to a goop and then you paint on in layers let it dry paint again.

mixing is trial and error.

you keep the goop in a container closed so it dont dry up on you.

why do all that messy work? because its messy trust me.

because the end result is something that has no weight at all but it is rockhard and can take alot of beating before it can break.

it will last forever and its cheap as dirt once you got the basic stuff and its fun to let it evolve and makes great gifts.

Bro I use photoshop to size em down. I love bad brains for years now so anything I see I collect or duplicate! I own my own print shop so i use my fancy epson to print the posters and such out! but any printer would do for sure. as of late ive been using fancy photo paper it just gives a better feel. heres and example.

I'd say build the shape you want with cardboard and then cover it with DAS modeling clay and paint it......
